Training
The Pyramid Model provides the framework for implementing practices needed to intentionally promote young children’s social and emotional competence. During this series we will take a closer look at the first tier of the Pyramid Model and learn about the practices needed to build responsive and nurturing relationships with all children. In addition to a focus on the relationship with the child, this level of the pyramid also describes the need for developing partnership with families and collaborative relationship among classroom team members. Through discussions, vignettes, and group activities, we will explore the importance of building relationships with children, families, and colleagues, while stressing the importance of family partnerships and inclusion strategies.
